I’m Dorian Maat, a self-taught photographer and marketer based in Breda, the Netherlands. My passion for photography and marketing is driven by capturing moments and expressing emotions and life.
My work has been featured on websites and social media by many of my clients. I strive to create images that make people feel present in the moment, as if they are living within the photograph, while delivering outstanding photos for my clients.
I’ve captured the energy of surf camps and hostels and want to do more of it. I focus on showcasing the atmosphere, people, surfers, and surroundings—helping you create a strong visual identity that attracts new guests.

Dorian Maat
My name is Dorian, a self-taught photographer and marketer based in Breda, the Netherlands. My passion for photography started when I was young, always walking around with my dad’s camera, simply capturing everything there was.
After my studies and starting professional life, I picked up my camera again to find something extra. I got in touch with a surf camp in Ecuador that was searching for a photographer and after some courses and buying new gear I went there, and it was amazing!
I’ve captured the energy of surf camps and hostels and want to do more of it. I like photographing the surfers, people, surroundings, vibe and just creating a visual identity that attracts new guests!
I'm a surfer myself, far from catching barrels, though. But I know the feeling when your wave of the day gets captured in a beautiful picture!
